I am a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas with over 20 years of experience in applied numerical modeling/analysis in the areas of reservoir engineering and mechanical engineering. I have over 15 years of reservoir engineering experience, primarily in the area of reservoir simulation. I have built reservoir simulation models for world-class offshore reservoirs in West Africa, Brazil, the Middle East, and the Gulf of Mexico (Deepwater and Shelf). I have expertise with most of the commercially-available reservoir simulators (Eclipse, VIP, NEXUS and CMG) and with a number of proprietary simulators. Additionally, I have converted numerous models from one simulator to another. My simulation experience includes black-oil and compositional models for black-oil, dry gas, and gas-condensate reservoirs.
I have 8 years of experience with a major oil company in upstream research, development and production functions. I have another 8 years of experience with a subsurface consulting firm, where I have managed and performed subsurface projects on a wide variety of reservoirs for a vast number of clients. I have 4 years of experience in team leadership and project mangement with responsibility for scope, budget, technical quality, and client satisfaction. I have a demonstrated ability to mange and/or perform high-quality subsurface projects in a timely manner. I am recognized as an effective communicator who has given technical reviews to various levels of management, authored peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at technical meetings/conferences.
